In 2016, life took me on an emotional rollercoaster when I became unwell. I had to take two years off work as I was severely anaemic due to an underlying condition. I was suffering from anxiety and taking eight tablets a day to just function. This was also when Chubbs, my beloved French Bulldog, came into my life.

I sincerely believe that throughout this illness, Chubbs quite literally saved my life and gave me the energy and motivation to get better. When I got him, I threw myself into being a fully-fledged puppy mum.

Even when I had no energy, I would attend puppy classes and find the strength to get out of bed to walk and play with Chubbs. His unconditional love and cute little face gave me so much strength and helped to rebuild my confidence. I had to get better for Chubbs, and he actively helped me do this every day.

After a long struggle, I reached the point where I was so sick of being sick and became determined to turn things around. Through this newfound love for Chubbs and seeing the amazing health benefits he had provided me with, I became inspired. I decided that I wanted to turn my pain into purpose and advocate the healing effects that dogs have on humans. This decision led me to launch The Cuddle Club – Dog Therapy Events.

Since then, people in workplaces, schools, and communities across London and the country have benefited from the therapeutic benefits of our therapy dogs, known as The Cuddle Club Heroes.

Our latest endeavour is dedicated to holistic dog care. Situated in the heart of Wembley Park, our space is designed to meet dogs' mental and physical well-being needs, infused with love at every step. Beyond grooming, we host various events in our beautiful, dog-centric venue, fostering community, connection, and compassionate care.

I am super passionate about holistic health for both pups and people. This is the focus and the foundation of all that we do at The Cuddle Club.
